VWAP Extensions Indicator

The VWAP Extensions Indicator plots the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) for the current session directly on your chart, along with configurable standard deviation bands. This is the same reference institutional traders use to identify value zones.

Unlike a strategy, this indicator does not place any trades — it simply gives you a clear visual map of where price is relative to the volume-weighted average, so you decide when and how to act.

The VWAP line changes color dynamically based on trend direction, and optional alerts notify you the moment price touches any of the extension bands.

The VWAP calculates the volume-weighted average price throughout the session. When price extends significantly beyond it — crossing the first or second standard deviation — it often signals an overextended move relative to where most volume has traded.

This indicator draws those zones automatically, updating in real time, so you can visually time entries, exits, or simply confirm your bias without manual calculations.
